It is with sadness that we regretfully report that, Claude "Tom" Evans, 70, of Huber Heights, passed away November 15, 2021, at 8am, with family by his side. Born January 13, 1951, in Dayton, and the son to the late Clyde and Lula Evans.
He was retired from Local #24 Sheet Metal Workers Union Hall. After retirement, he continued to work to provide for his family. He was a loving and devoted husband and father. Anything that his family needed, he was the first to show up and do what was needed to get the job done. This was especially true for his four daughters and son.
Survivors include his loving wife of 25 years, Sandra Evans; daughters, Krystal (Jerome) Lewis, Casey (Sean) Wetsig, Vicky (Brian) Jackson and son, James Brown. Grandchildren, Neil, Nevaeh, Juliaunna, Brandon, Tayler, Kalleb, Jakob, Seth, Nikolas, Matt, Cameron, Bridgette, Alyssa and David. Four great-grandchildren, Kennedy, Elouise, Lucas and Hazel.
Preceded in death by his parents; brothers; sister; daughter, Nicky; and granddaughter, Arianna.
Visitation will be held from 6:00pm-8:00pm, on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at 1:00pm, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Willow View Cemetery.
