KALDAHL, Clarence L., age 80, passed away Friday, October 2, 2009. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Jesse Kaldahl and sister, Dorothy Blanchard. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sylvia Kaldahl; children, Lana (Michael) Stevens and Sonya (Tim) Evans; grandchildren, Eric, Andrew, Alexa, Ian Stevens; sisters, Marjorie Franklin and Marie Buttrey of MN, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Clarence spent 13 months as a medic with the United States Army in Korea, worked 5 years as an orderly with Kettering Medical Center and was one of the original employees of the center. He retired from the Beavercreek School District after 27 years of service and was a Deacon with the Miamisburg SDA Church. He was a loving brother, husband, father, and grandfather, whom will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held at 6:30 pm on Monday, October 5, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton or the Miamisburg SDA Church.
