Clarence "Joe" Hall

May 21, 1957 — July 9, 2024

Medway

Clarence “Joe” Hall of Fairborn, formerly of Medway, passed away peacefully at home on July 9, 2024 surrounded by those he loved the most after a more than 2 year battle with illness.

Joe was born on May 21, 1957 in Springfield to the late Garfield Hall Jr and Elaine (Justice) Pack. He graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1976 and was employed by Brock Poured Concrete Walls for 31 years until an injury forced his retirement in 2017.

Joe was an avid sports fan, ensuring all knew of his Buckeye fandom and proclaimed there would never be another Big Red Machine. He also enjoyed playing golf and softball and was able to do both with his children by his side as an adult. His greatest accomplishments and joy in life were his son and daughter and he took every opportunity to let others know about their successes in life, be it walking across the country for mental health awareness or earning a Master’s degree in education. Joe also realized the joy of being a cat dad to his beloved Jimmy Dugan, who misses him dearly.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, brother Stephen Hall, sister Karen Goff, and sister Dora Jacques. He is survived by his son, Joe, of Fairborn. A daughter, Kelli (Jon) LeMaster of Fairborn. Nephew Tony Goff of Medway. A brother, Kenneth “Rocky” (Donna) Pack of Springfield. Cousins Waleka (Tim) Hetico, Louise Taylor, and Billie Sue (Joe) Blazer, niece and nephews Jessica, Justin, and Kevin Jacques, as well as his feline companion, Jimmy Dugan. Last but most assuredly not least, he is survived by his ex-wife and bestie, Marta, who was unwaveringly by his side every step of the way these last 2.5 years.

We have no doubt he was greeted with open arms by his family and is enjoying all of the cheeseburgers and milkshakes his heart desires. A very special thank you to doctors Courtney Stroble and Nathanael Rollison as well as countless nurses at Soin. Thank you for always treating our dad with respect and dignity.
