DAVIS, Clarence "Tom", Jr., age 78 of Miamisburg, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2016 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born in Portsmouth to the late Sophie and Clarence Davis, Sr. Tom retired from DP&L after many years of loyal service. He enjoyed restoring classic cars and attending swap meets in his free time and spending time with his family. Tom was always willing to go out of his way to help friend in need. He was a generous and giving man. Tom was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, and friend and will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by brothers, Paul and Lee Davis; sisters, Lil and Linda; and son, Jonathan.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Beverly Davis; children, Mark (Kathryn) Davis, George (Diana) Gilbert, Mary McDonald, and Caron LaRew; grandchildren, Brittany McDonald, Amber Palmer, Megan Davis, Kevin Davis, George Gilbert, II, and Alyssa LaRew; and great-granddaughter, Addison; sister, Barb (Donnie) Dillon; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Clarence's memory to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton.
