Clarence Brizius
July 25, 1925 — December 21, 2011
BRIZIUS, Clarence L. age 86 passed away December 21, 2011.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jeanette Brizius; brothers, Albert (Leola) Brizius, George (Emily) Brizius, and Harold Brizius; and sister, Alma Brizius.
He is survived by his daughters, Diane (Brian) Shirley and Donna (Mark) Prestifilippo; grandchildren, Cara and Ryan Shirley and Adam, Lauren, and Ali Prestifilippo; brother, Garland (Ruth) Brizius; sister-in-laws, Mildred Stippler and Liz Loehr; and brother-in-law, Kenneth (Kathryn) Loehr; numerous nieces and nephews; and beloved dog, Roxy.
He retired from NCR as an engineer after many years of service and served in the United States Navy during WWII. He was a graduate of Purdue University. Clarence was an avid gardener and salt water fisherman.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 27, 2011 from 1:00 pm until the time of service at 2:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home – Beavercreek, 3380 Dayton-Xenia RD. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
