Clara Susan Burchett

Clara Susan Burchett, age 96, of Medway, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 24, 2022.
Clara was born August 30, 1926 in Paintsville, Kentucky to the late Taylor & Gladys Williams.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Waylord Burchett; daughters, Cathy Williams and Theresa Anderson; siblings, Doug Williams, Katherine Wells, Dixie VanHoose, Anna Marie Williams and Paul Williams; and grandson, Erik Williams.
Clara is survived by her sons, Greg (Alison) Burchett, Keith (Debbie) Burchett; granddaughters, April (Adam) Pulliam, Amber (Scott) Mitchell, Krista (Colin) Hoke, Natalie (Dave) Youd, Jennifer (Glenn) DeLong, Angela (Aaron) Lewis, Cheryl (Matt) Thompson, Krystal (Sean) Taylor and Beverly (Josh) Bereczky; grandson, Aaron (Bailey) Burchett; siblings, Garry (Patsy) Williams, Lowell Williams and Garrel (Mary) Williams; numerous great-grandchildren; as well as a host of other relatives and many friends.
Clara retired from the Tecumseh Local School District and Walmart. She loved to bake, sew, crochet, holistic living but above all spend time with her family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Miami Valley United Baptist Church (660 W. Hyde Road, Yellow Springs, OH 45387). Funeral service will begin at 11:00 am. Clara will be laid to rest next to her husband at New Carlisle Cemetery.
