Clara Martin

MARTIN, Clara M. (Schuler), age 97, of Xenia, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2005. She was born May 30, 1908 in Konstanz, Germany, the daughter of Fredrich and Maria (Waltz) Schuler. Clara came to the U.S.A. in 1929 and married William A. Martin on January 31, 1931 in Rochester, NY. She was preceded in death by her husband, William, in 1977; one daughter, Trudy Bergh in 1999; and both parents. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Richard J. and Mary Martin of Xenia; 6 grandchildren, Craig Koelle, Susan Kelly (husband, Bernard) both of Hilton, NY, Scott Koelle (wife, Laurie) of Brockport, NY, Eric Martin (wife, Cindy) of Springfield, OH, Elizabeth Running (husband, Donald) of Warsaw, IN, and Peter Martin of Salt Lake City, UT. Ten great-grandchildren, Anna, Peter, Isaac, Leah, and Ruth Running, Joshua, Gabriel, and Lydia Koelle, Emily Martin, and Tessa Kelly; one niece in Switzerland, Hanelore Ilg (husband, Ernst); one nephew in Fairport, NY, Gebhardt Muffler (wife, Krimhilde); two nephews in Georgia, Robert (wife, Judy), John (wife, Debbie); one nephew in Germany, Hebert Schuler.
