Age 90, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2009, at Summerville of South Dayton where she had lived for the past three years.
Clara was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Ralph Brewer, in 2002; one son, Brian Brewer; and by her siblings, Mary Poeppelmeier, Ken Hardin, Keith Hardin & Kathleen Courter.
Clara is survived by three children, Raeleen (Bob) Bookwalter, Carol Brewer & Joe (Angie) Brewer; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and by her siblings, James (Kate) Hardin & Dorothy White.
Clara was a member of St. Helen's Catholic Church, active in genealogy, a member of the Brookville Historical Society and active with the 500 card club at the Kettering Rec. Center.
Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, at St. Helen's Catholic Church, 5100 Burkhardt Road, Dayton. A reception will follow Mass. The family suggests that contributions be made in memory of Clara to VITAS Hospice. Newcomer, North chapel in charge of arrangements.
