Cindy L Short

Short, Cindy L., age 75, of Kettering, passed away August 21, 2018. She was born December 17, 1942 in Rushville, IN to the late Vern and Mary Evelyn Hine. Family and friends were always first with Cindy. She enjoyed crocheting and reading. Cindy was an avid sports fan and enjoyed bowling and played on many leagues. She also loved music, animals, and sitting on her front porch visiting with the neighbors.
In addition to her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by one brother, Tom Hine.
She is survived by her husband, William T. "Bill" Short; 3 sons, Troy (Kathy) Erbes, Dean (Cheryl) Erbes, Sean Erbes; 3 step-children, Vicki Bowman, Nettie (Randy) Murphy, Tom Short; 18 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Bill (Carole) Hine; sister-in-law, Bev Hine, and nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 27, 2018 from 12:30pm until time of service at 1:30pm at Newcomer South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association in Cindy's honor.
