Charles Lamar Huey "Chuck", age 86, died April 17, 2024 at Sycamore Hospital.
He was born June 20, 1937 in Acworth, Georgia.
Chuck entered the U.S. Air Force at 17 and was stationed in French Morocco, Japan, Greenland, England, Vietnam, California and Ohio.
While in England he met and married Lynda Green in June of 1963. They celebrated 60 years of marriage together in June 2023.
He was a proud member of the Mad River Lions Club for 39 years. He joined in December of 1985.
He enjoyed being a member of the Moose Lodge in Beavercreek.
He is survived by his wife, Lynda; daughter, Leigh (David Mahaffey) Huey; son, Rob (Dana) Huey; grandson, Ethan (Sharon Clifton) Huey as well as many lifelong friends.
If you knew Chuck, you know he always had a hug & kiss for all the ladies.
A Celebration of life ceremony will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 with visitation from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm and a service beginning at 6:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to the Diabetes Association of Dayton at www.diabetesdayton.org/give in Chuck's memory.
