Christy D. (nee: Carmichael) Hammond, age 43, of Washington Township, passed away Sunday July 20, 2014.
Christy was preceded in death by her mother, Saundra Carmichael. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Maya Hammond and Cheyney (Adam Motschman) Morgan; father, Glenn Carmichael; grand-daughter, Naomi Coffman; sister, Denise (Rick) Edsall; nephew, Tyler; nieces, Savannah and Casey all of Centerville; as well as a host of cousins and friends.
Christy was a graduate of Wright State University with a Bachelor Degree in nursing.
Visitation is Thursday July 24, 2014 from 10am to 11am with funeral service starting at 11am at the Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel), Kettering, OH.
Burial will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any KeyBank branch in the name of Maya Hammond.
