Christopher M. Stewart

Christopher Marlin Stewart, age 39 of Xenia, passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday, January 2, 2020. He was born November 12, 1980 in Xenia, Ohio the son of Donald C. Stewart Jr. and Raelyn Rhoads.

Christopher was a big hearted, funny, and was everyone's friend. He was a loving father, son, grandson, boyfriend, uncle, and friend. He had a passion for woodworking, and enjoyed playing the harmonica. To know Christopher was to love him and he was loved by all who knew him. He was the life of the party. He enjoyed making people laugh and bringing joy to everyone.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Nancy Stewart; maternal grandparents, Ray and Bernice Davis; an uncle, Marlin Clifton; an aunt, Betty Dodge; and a cousin, Cary Clifton.

Christopher is survived by his parents, Donald C. Stewart Jr. (Sue Hardwick) and Raelyn (Larry) Rhoads; children, Taylor Stewart and Jordan Stewart; girlfriend, Jessica Gillenwater; siblings, Derek Stewart, Carly Smith, and Jen (Ian) Bock; grandfather, Donald C. Stewart Sr. (Elaine Maples); aunts, Carmen Jordan (Bill Charles), Donna (Richard) Templeton, and Barbara (Zeke) Grigsby; uncles, Danny (Brenda) Stewart, Ronald Dodge, Carl (Sandy) Clifton, and Willie Davis; best friend, Daniel Myers; as well as a host of numerous family members and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 7, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Newcomer Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432).

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 10:00 am at Newcomer - Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). Following the services, a Gathering of Family and Friends will take place at VFW Post 2402, 850 West 2nd Street in Xenia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made towards Christopher's funeral expenses.
