Christopher S. Kemp, age 58 of Germantown, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2020 at his residence. He was born May 1, 1962 in Buffalo, New York.
Chris is preceded in death by his brother, Audie O'Neil.
He is survived by his mother Nancy O'Neil; daughter, Shauna (David) Leigh Anne Close; Son, Christopher Brown; four grandsons, Michael Christopher Close, Parker Lee Close, Noah Brown, Beau Brown; two granddaughters, Isabella Grace Close and Lola Brown; three brothers, James Kemp, Kenneth O' Neil and Ray Guy; sister, Laura Bailey; He is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Chris was an Army veteran but spent most of his life over the road serving as a truck driver for Active USA. He enjoyed traveling, gardening, and skydiving. Chris was known for his sense of humor and practical jokes. He most enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and his beloved black lab, Brea.
A public visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funeral Home - South Chapel 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439. Sharing of fond memories will follow at 6:00 pm.
