Christopher J. Gerard

Christopher J. Gerard, age 34 of Dayton, OH passed away May 13, 2015. He was born August 11, 1980 in Danville, IL. Chris was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Ruby Matthews of Rossville, IL and grandfather, Donald Jackson of Danville, IL; paternal grandparents, Charles "Jack" and Mary Gerard of Charleston, IL.

He is survived by his daughters, Aurora and AnaMae Gerard; step-son, Aidan McDonald; his parents, William and Sandra Gerard; sister, Aimee (Bob Furlong) Gerard; nieces, Alexandra Gerard and Katelynn Furlong; numerous extended family and friends.

Chris graduated from Vandalia Butler and MVCTC in 1998. After graduation, Chris served in the U.S. Navy as a Fire Controlman 2nd Class, E-5. He received his Bachelor's degree from Jacksonville University followed by his graduation from Wright State University with his Master's degree, both in business. Chris worked as a Master Tool and Die Maker.
