Christopher N. Hook, 82, of Englewood, OH and formerly of Dayton, OH, passed away September 17, 2017. Christopher was born in Pittsburgh, PA on December 8, 1934 to Joseph and Catherine (Berry) Hook. He married Dorothy Carpenter on November 5, 1960 in Dayton, OH.
Christopher was a sheet metal worker and a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local Union 224 for 37 years. He loved to fish and boat at St. Mary's Lake and enjoyed hanging out with family and friends. Christopher loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
Christopher is survived by wife of 57 years; a son, Jim (Wayne Sparrow) Hook; a daughter, Beth Eshbaugh; two grandchildren, Corey and Arin (Lillie) Eshbaugh; three great grandchildren, Kaylee, Waylen and Addilyn Eshbaugh; and a sister, Carol Thompson; and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends. Christopher was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, James, Mary, Katherine, John, Gerald, Roseanne, Edward and Patrick.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September, 22, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, OH 45424, where services will begin at 4:00 pm.
