DeNISE, Christopher Thomas
age 27, of Sidney, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2006 at Kettering Memorial Hospital. He received a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Sinclair Community College. Chris was also employed at Long John Silvers in Piqua. He is survived by his wife of 2 years, Dawn DeNise; mother, Susan (Tim) Christman; father, Mark (Carol) DeNise; brother, Matthew DeNise; step-brothers, Ryan and Derek Sekas; step-sisters, Sarah Leach and Emily Reynolds; grandparents, Robert and Betty Christman, Mary Coverstone, Russell Hanna, Louis and Ethel Sadowski, and Harold and Joan Bailey; aunt, Marla Maybrook; and uncle (Godfather), Tom Benanzer. Chris was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Jean Hanna and Charlotte Furnas; and two cats, Dusty and Angelica. Family will receive friends 5:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, May18, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12:00 p.m. Friday, May 19, 2006 at St. Henry's Catholic Church, 6666 Springboro Pike. Father Tom Shearer will officiate. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Chris loved animals. Everyone he met was a friend and he was kind and caring to everyone.
