Christopher James "Chris" Andrews, age 65, of Dayton, passed away February 8, 2025. Christopher was born in Dayton, Ohio, on September 16, 1959, the son of the late James Andrews and Barbara Duerr.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his daughter, Christin Andrews.
Chris is survived by his wife, Molly; son, Jesse (Angela) Holley; grandchildren, Dylan and Gavin Holley; brothers, James (Joy) Andrews and Randy (Lisa) Brown; sisters, Debra (Dennis) Prugh and Tracey (Jack) Fuller; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was a proud graduate of Beavercreek High School, Class of 1978. Chris had numerous career paths throughout his life, including being a bartender, and most notably owned Odd Jobs & Oddities by Chris.
In his free time, he loved listening to music, as well as playing the guitar, piano, harmonica, organ and singing. He was always the life of the party and had a wonderful sense of humor. He loved to tell jokes and make others laugh. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Hindu Temple of Dayton (where he often assisted with various events) for their gracious gift.
Visitation will be held from 2:00pm-3:00pm on Monday, February 24, 2025 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd, Beavercreek), where a memorial service will be held at 3:00pm.
