Mutter, Christl R., born March 16, 1956 in Dayton Ohio to Loving parents, William (Bill) Bowling & The late Elsie Bowling - Stanfield.
She passed peacefully surrounded by her Children and Grand Children on Tuesday November 17, 2020.
She is Survived by her Loving Husband James Mutter.
Her Beloved Children Verna (Jamie) Mutter, Elizabeth (Scott) Back, David (Britni ) Lay
Her Treasured Grandchildren Christian (Tasha) Mutter, Kaitlyn ( Corey ) Taulbee,
Emily (Anthony) Daniel, Alexis Smith, Nathan (Samantha) Mutter, Gavin Mutter, Owen Back, Brody & Elliot Lay
Her Adoring Great Grandchildren Addisyn, Riley, Gannon, Teagan, Charlie and 1 on the way, Austin.
Her Cherished Siblings Bobby Bowling, Sue (Vik) Reddy, Debbie (Javier) Diaz,
Penny (Gil) Maxi, Krista (Rodney) Couch
Her Beloved Nephews Christopher, Andre, Javier, Jesse & Shaun
She is also Survived By the Father of her Children & First Husband David Lay they remained close and enjoyed watching their children and family grow over the years!
And we cannot leave out her little dogs, yes, I said dogs, Mia and Allie she loved them both dearly!
She absolutely loved being a Granny And giving hugs and cuddles she never met a baby that didn't fall fast asleep while being wrapped in her embrace! She had a special bond and relationship with each and every one of her grandchildren & great grandchildren!
She was previously a Member of Valley Street Pentecostal Holiness Church before she became ill, and truly enjoyed being a Sunday School Teacher and the fellowship she received there!
After she became ill she continued to have a close relationship with the Lord from home.
She was so loved by so many and will be greatly missed, we will especially miss her big smile and belly laugh, but we all know she is home with the lord now and we take great comfort in knowing that.
We would like to give a Great Big Thank you to the Emergency Department and to DR. Lakes at Grandview Hospital.
And A Very Special Thank You to Laurie, Leslie, Rory, Esther, Dawn, Meana, Kylie, Becca, Dex, Taylor and all of the rest of the Nurses in the SICU unit at Grandview Hospital for the amazing job you all did taking care of our Mother we are so great full to all of you!
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 22, 2020 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, OH 45424). The State of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face masks will be worn in all public places.
Private Graveside Service will be held at the convenience of the family.
