Christine Renfrow, age 75, died peacefully at home the morning of June 26, 2021 in Miamisburg, Ohio.
She was born May 9, 1946 in Toronto, Ontario Canada to her loving parents Robert & Hilda Maxwel. Her parents proceeded her in death in 2008 and 2009 respectively.
On June 18, 1967 she married her high school sweetheart, Jerry Renfrow. In 1984 they moved from home in Newhall, CA to Miamisburg, OH. They spent many years traveling the country and visiting family two things that she loved.
Christine was a loving mother to her two children Brian Keith Renfrow and Kristina Nicole Malin. Because of her loving, nurturing nature she helped raise her brother Colin Maxwell, niece Stacy Hastings and her grandson Alex Renfrow.
Surviving Christine are her brothers Bob and Ginny Maxwell, Colin Maxwell, Her aunt Irene Graham, daughter Kristina Nicole and Jim Malin, grandchildren, Alex Renfrow, and Jillan and Ella Malin, Godchildren Devin and Megan Maxwell, and many more family and friends. As well as her two dogs Little Bear and Gracie.
Christine loved to love people. For 10 years she taught at Springboro Preschool Discovery. She also, loved to loom knit. She made hundreds of hats, scarfs and blankets donating them to Kettering Southview Mother/Baby, The Good Neighbor House and many friends and family. She shared her passion by teaching others to loom knit.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Memory of Christine to one of the charities near and dear to her heart, St. Jude's Hospital, The Shriner's Hospital or the American Heart Association
We will have a Celebration of Life for Christine on July 25, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Miamisburg Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 2155 Leiter Rd. Miamisburg, OH 45342, reception to follow at her daughter's home 1416 Black Forest Drive, West Carrolton, OH 45449.
