Christine Pullen

PULLEN, Christine (Morrow), born in Williamson, West Virginia on May 24, 1953, departed this life on July 13, 2008 at Miami Valley Hospital. She is retired from The University of Dayton after 18 years of service. Christine was a proud graduate of Roosevelt High School class of 1972, and she also attended Miami Jacobs College. She is preceded in death by her father Thomas Morrow, Sr.; husband Melvin L. Pullen; two sisters; and brother. Christine leaves to cherish her memory mother Carrie Morrow; daughter Jamilah (John) Middlebrooks; son Melvin (Gabby) Pullen; two sisters Mary Olden and Josephine Hale; four brothers James Morrow, Nathaniel Morrow, Clifford Morrow, and Bill Jones; aunt Fairy Coleman; twelve grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends, including special friends Catherine English and Frank Johnson. Funeral services will be held 2:00PM Friday, July 18, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. Family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00PM Friday prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at Woodland Cemetery.
