Christine Mulligan

Christine (Chris) M. Mulligan, age 91, passed away on October 8, 2013.
She and her brother William (Bill) were the children of Christy and Pearl Maxwell of Las Palomas, New Mexico.
She graduated from nursing school at Carrie Tingley Hospital and served in the Army Air Nursing Corps during WWII. In Shreveport, Louisiana, she met and married her husband Robert.
They had two daughters and lived in Texas, Spain, and Colorado, before retiring in Beavercreek.
She leaves behind her husband Robert, daughters Jean and Nancy, son-in-law Jim Koelker, grandsons Neil (and wife Elizabeth) and Ryan Koelker, great-grandsons Dane and Dash Koelker and many wonderful friends and neighbors.
Chris worked at Greene Memorial Hospital for a number of years. A loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, Chris was also a woman of strong Christian faith who could not tell a lie, even though Jim tried his best to teach her.
She faced life unflinchingly with resolute character, giving strength to all around her.
In keeping with Christine's wishes, there will be no services. The family plans to have a "celebration of Christine's life " at a later date.
