Christine J. (Dyro) McVicar, 78, of Dayton, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015. She was born January 12, 1937 in Portland, Maine.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles McVicar; parents, Felix and Pauline Dyro; and brother, Stan Dyro.
Christine "Ma" is survived by her daughters, Julie A. (Mike) Althoff, Diane (Harold) Witt and Sandy (David) Link sons, David (Christine) McVicar, Chris (Tammy) McVicar and Jeff (Debbie) McVicar; grandchildren, Matt (Tara), Justin (Jennifer), Stephanie (Mike), Megan (Ryan), Molly (Lee), Hillary (Tony), Andrew, Patrick, Thomas, Joseph, Jeffrey, Grace; great-grandchildren, Blake, Kaleb, Halle, Amelia, Avery, Audrey; and sister, Martha Pillsbury. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at St. Helen's Parish, 5100 Burkhardt Road, Dayton, Ohio 45431. Burial will follow at Byron Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer's Association Miami Valley Chapter.
