HEATHERLY, Christine (Gilreath) age 82, of Dayton, OH passed away peacefully July 29, 2011. Born October 1928 in Holly Hill, Ky., and later moved to LaFollette, TN.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, James F. Heatherly. Survived by her son, Larry (Bev), and daughter, Krista. Her three precious grandchildren, Isaac, Jacob and Lana. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arlena (nee Ellis) and Herman Gilreath; and sisters, Lois Carneal and Helen McNeese. She leaves two brothers, Garfield in Tennessee, and Wayne in Kentucky; and special sister, Dorothy in Pennsylvania.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 2, 2011 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:30 am at Newcomer Funeral Home – Beavercreek, 3380 Dayton-Xenia RD. Contributions in Christine's memory may be made to the Hospice of Miami Valley or to Alzheimer's Association Miami Valley Chapter.
