Christine M. Dixon, 65, passed away Nov. 15, 2011. Chris was a graduate of Beavercreek High School. Most of all she was a loving wife, mother, mamaw, sister and beloved sister in Christ to many.
Christine is survived by her husband, Lawrence Dixon; children, Tammy, Kati, Tammarae , David, Brian; grandchildren, Tony, Lindsay, Alex, Logan, Jacob, Nick, Harley, Mary, Wyatt; great grandchildren, Lilly, Christina; sisters Mary, Melodie, brother Herb; nieces Heather, Melody, nephews Paige and Matthew. Chris is preceded in death by parents Herb Layford and Evelyn Layford Hornbeck. Chris had a wonderful zest for life and will be greatly missed.
Services will be at Samaria Missionary Baptist Church, Friday, Nov. 18 at 6pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Samaria Missionary Baptist Church at Arthur Ave. in Dayton or to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
