Collins, Christina Rae "Chrissie", born May 6, 1979 in Berrien Center, Michigan, went to Heaven on November 1, 2014.
Chrissie was preceded in death by her grandparents: Eugene Sr. & Charlotte Hamlin and Sanford Peck. She leaves behind her parents: Steve & Ladonna Collins; grandmother: Jackie Collins Peck; her beloved pets: Sir Burt & Sir Winston; aunts and uncles: Elizabeth & John Akers, Dan & Mary Pfife, Mark & Jennifer Collins and Eugene Hamlin Jr.; many nieces and nephews; and her home health aides: Stacey Dennison & Joann Pierce,
Chrissie never knew a stranger and had a smile and a hug for everyone. She loved celebrating all holidays and was an avid Winnie the Pooh fan. Chrissie was a frequent swimmer at her condo pool. She enjoyed horseback riding at the Therapeutic Riding Institute and was a horse jockey in the 2013 TRI fund raiser. Chrissie attended Liberty Center in West Carrollton.
A celebration of Chrissie's Life will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. on Friday, November 7, 2014 at the Lexington Meadows COA Clubhouse, 1621 Yardley Circle, Centerville, Ohio 45459. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Therapeutic Riding Institute, in memory of Chrissie Collins, P.O. Box 750664, Dayton, Ohio 45475. Arrangements in care of Newcomer Funeral Home – South Chapel.
