Christa Marie Margarete Branscum

Christa Marie Margarete Branscum, age 72 of Huber Heights, Ohio, transitioned to her heavenly home Thursday, November 1, 2018. She was born March 31, 1946 in Schweinfurt, Germany to the late Franz and Marie Heckel.

Christa immigrated to the United States in January of 1964 settling in Dayton, Ohio where she raised her three children. She was employed with Phillips Industry and Inland Manufacturing, retiring from Dr. Meadow's Podiatry office on Main Street; as well as a loving homemaker for many years. Christa was a Christian who deeply loved the Lord. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who was quick to give warm embraces.

Christa will be dearly missed by her loving children, Anthony Landgraf, Cynthia (Michael) Young, Stephanie (Brandon) Booker; grandchildren, Jeremiah Burris, Grayson Jae Landgraf, Joshua (Sarah) Young, Jacob Young (Lilly Brown), Raquel Branscum (Timothy Murphy), Cheyenne Booker and Savannah Booker; great granddaughter, Sophia Grace Young and soon to arrive, Ruby Grace Young.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, November 7, 2018 from 12 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. Burial to follow the service at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton.
