Chris Corey

Chris Corey, age 59, of Dayton, Ohio passed away suddenly on Monday, October 22, 2018 in Dayton.
Chris was born January 7, 1959 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Gilbert L. and Marilyn J. Corey.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn J. Corey.
Chris owned and operated Keepers Woodworking for over 20 years. He was a devoted son, brother, partner and friend to many. Chris was a talented woodworker who specialized in curved woodworking. He especially loved spending time with his girlfriend, Denise and his special buddy, Shane.
He is survived by father, Gilbert L. (Kay Moore) Corey; siblings, Lori J. (Mark) Rowe, Jeff L. (Kelly Chambers) Corey and Susan T. Catrine; nephew, Brian (Laura) Catrine; partner, Denise Long, special friend, Shane Long and many aunts, uncles, cousins, along with numerous friends.
Family will receive friends Friday, October 26, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. at Newcomer South Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Charity of the Donor's Choice in Chris' name.
