GARRETT, Chester C., age 83, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2012. He was born March 22, 1929 in Cormona, Kentucky.
Chester served with the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was a member of Turner Road Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Vanna Garrett; his daughter, Tronda Watkins; step-son, Shane Crowell; seven grandchildren; sister-in-law, Ruth Cooper; special niece's Ruth Harbin and Sarah Pace; numerous other nieces, nephews and family members.
Chester was preceded in death by his parents, L. Cecil and Sarah Jane Garrett; 10 brothers and sisters. If desired, donations may be made to Turner Road Church of Christ.
