Cheryl L. Snipes, age 70 of Carlisle, OH, reunited with her husband, William H. Snipes on August 3, 2021 following a very long health battle.
Cheryl was born Oct 5, 1950 in Farmers, KY to the late Clyde Adams and Christine (Bowling) Adams Shields. She is also proceeded by her step-father, Johnny Shields. She was one of eight children and is survived by two siblings. Regina "Sissy" Smith (David) of Farmers,KY and Mitchell (Caroline) Adams of Lexington, KY.
Cheryl's children Angel (Will) Beigel and Billie (Michael) Henry are thankful she's not suffering any longer and only wanted her here if she could be healthy, happy and able to enjoy life. Cheryl loved lots of people but the complete apples of her eye were her grandchildren, Katie (Justin) Steiner of Evans, GA and Cole Beigel currently stationed in Germany serving in the US Army. Watching you grow into wonderful adults made her so proud and so happy. She could never FaceTime enough, watch enough videos or see enough pictures of her great granddaughter Ellie Lynn of Evans, GA. Grow in God's Grace and love and know Nona and Papa loved you All.
We can't list everyone but there are some extra special people to note. Sherri Adams, your bond was so much more than just a sister in law and she loved you more than she knew how to express. Rowena Estill and Linda Conner, the hardest thing to find in life are true friends. You were the best and you made her days brighter every time she spoke to you. To Sissy, a sister's love is everything. Your love and devotion did not go unnoticed and she loved you with all her heart.
Cheryl loved to laugh and would talk to anyone that would listen and sometimes even if you didn't. She said if she could make someone smile, her day was made. Please remember her in smiles and laughter and know she's happy and whole in Heaven.
Family will receive guests from 11 AM - 1 PM on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, OH 45459). A funeral procession will begin at 1:00 PM for a graveside service at Evergreen Cemetery, West Carrollton, OH.
Cheryl loved flowers and also loved reaching out to people in need. The family is also happily accepting donations for the House of Bread (www.houseofbread.org), in Cheryl's memory.
