Cheryl L Huist

HUIST, Cheryl L., age 46, of Union, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2008. She was born January 1, 1962 in Dayton, Ohio. She was a 1980 graduate of Beavercreek High School and a 1984 graduate of Morehead State University with a Bachleors Degree in special education and a Master's Degree from Wright State University. She taught special education at Arcanum-Butler Middle School. She is survived by her son, Jarred Huist; parents, Duane and Connie Koverman; two sisters, Annette Payne and Pamela Koverman; two nieces, Crystal Payne and Kaila Koverman-Gibbs; one great-niece, Emma Elson; many other Gauder family members and extended Huist family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Huist in 1996; mother-in-law, Marjorie Huist and Jerry Gouder. Visitation will be held Monday, November 24, 2008 from 5-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Rd.) where funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Frank Fenton officiating. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for Jarred's college fund.
