Cheryl "Cherie" Ann Fleming, age 74, of Centerville, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on May 5th, 2021 due to complications of Covid.
She was born in Dayton, Ohio on February 9th, 1947 to the late Robert and Goldie Zellers of New Lebanon. She graduated from the Johnsville-New Lebanon class of 1965. She worked many decades in the Kettering Health Network, mostly at Southview Hospital and Sycamore Hospital in the Accounts Payable department. Cherie enjoyed her time at Centerville Community Church; whether it was helping serve coffee and donuts, helping at VBS, going to Bible studies and church services. She loved to just sit and people watch and talk to anyone. She loved to bake all kinds of goodies, especially making and decorating cakes. She also liked flowers, butterflies, coffee, eating out, and watching movies. Her favorite time of the year was Christmas and she loved to wear all her Christmas sweaters and shirts.
Cherie will be missed by her two daughters; Tami (Doug) Records and Taran Angel, siblings; Dale (Cynthia) Zellers and Patrice (Ralph) Bishop, two grandchildren; Erin (Jeff) Sizemore and Michael Records; three great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Cherie loved her Tuesday night Bible study group like her own family.
Cherie was preceded in death by her parents; Robert and Goldie Zellers, and brother Robert Zellers Jr.
A memorial service will be held at Centerville Community Church in Centerville, Ohio on May 10th at 11am.
