Cheryl Sue Evans, age 76 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born April 29, 1944 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of the late Raymond and Geraldine (Carper) Reuber.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her children, Charles Richard, Jr. Evans, Donald Leroy Evans and Christina Renee Evans; grandson, Johnny Hill; siblings, Gene Reuber and Janice Teske.
Cheryl is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Charles Richard Evans, Sr.; children, Gary (Carla Davis) Evans, Ronald (Sunday Grinnell) Evans and Rhonda (John Hill) Evans; grandchildren, Matt Moore, Shawn, Brittany, Brandi, Charles, III, Leroy and Samantha Evans; many great-grandchildren; siblings, Danny (Maryann) Reuber and Sherry Lynn Dairymple; along with numerous family and friends.
Cheryl attended Northridge High School who still remained friends with her classmates. She worked as a manager for BP Oil in Xenia for over 25 years. Cheryl was an avid bowler. She was very well loved by her family and friends. Cheryl never met a stranger and will be remembered for her positivity. She will be dearly and sadly missed by all who knew her. She was the glue that kept everyone together.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 3, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424 where her funeral service will take place on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 1:30 pm. Burial to follow the service at Willow View Cemetery.
