Cheryl Ann Hamilton-Miller
Age 54, of Huber Heights, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Hospice of Dayton, following a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on December 24, 1955 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles and Justine Hamilton.
She is survived by her loving children, Lawrence Gantt III and Kacee (Ryan) Rose; four grandchildren, Jeordin and Morgyn Rose, Lacey Abbaleo and Kylie Miller; three sisters, Loraine (James) Madewell, Diana Hamilton and Patricia (Jon) Mowery; two brothers, Tim (Phyllis) Hamilton and Charles (Jenny) Hamilton; four nieces, Tammy Valentine, Carey Hamilton, Tonya Hill and Leigh Drumm; five nephews, James Madewell Jr., Jeffrey Madewell, Gordon Goode Jr., Tom Hamilton and Ernie Hill Jr.. She is also survived by her best friend of many years, Debby (Dave) Bell.
She was a member of Northridge Freewill Baptist Church. She cherished the time spent with her family, friends, children and grandchildren. She will be missed greatly by her family and everyone who knew her.
The family will receive relatives and friends, Monday, July 26, 2010 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Northridge Freewill Baptist Church, 4800 Payne Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45414. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Northridge Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Nickels officiating. Burial to follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens, Xenia, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to Northridge Freewill Baptist Church.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Dr. Basel Yanes, MD, Dr. Kent Scholl, MD (retired) and to Hospice of Dayton.
