Charlotte Lucille Robinett, age 78 of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on June 25, 2019. She was born March 30, 1941 in Troy, Ohio to the late Charles and Lucille Stagner. In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, James Robinett; brother, Job Stagner; and an infant daughter.
Charlotte is survived by her sister, Delores O'Halloran; sister-in-law, Nila Stagner; several nieces and nephews; dear lifelong friends: Beverly and Paul Baker and family. She is also survived by special friends, Jane Bensman and Jackie Garland and family.
Charlotte was a graduate of Fairborn High School, Class of 1960. She was an international poet, listed in the National Library of Poetry. Charlotte is the author of 4 books: "Mother May I?", "Myriad Images", "Clock of Time" and "Moments of Memories" and the last three are located in the archives in the library at Wright State University. She was known as "Sister Hermana Carlota Lucilla Robinett, Servas de Las Parbes, Dominica Republica" (translated as "Sisters of the Poor"). Charlotte worked at Grant Hospital in Columbus, Ohio and worked at Sears and Roebuck in the catalog department.
Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 am on Monday, July 1, 2019 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 10:30 am.
