Charlotte Mccleskey

Charlotte McCleskey, born April 25, 1927 to George and Virginia McLane, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 26, 2016 after a long and fruitful life at the age of 89. She was raised in Dayton, Ohio where she met and married Harry McCleskey, Sr. From that union was born 12 children.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by children, Shirley Mae McCleskey, Harry McCleskey, Jr., George Bertram McCleskey, Ezell McCleskey, Rosezell McCleskey, Mark Allen McCleskey, Geneva Ann McCleskey, Clinton McCleskey; siblings, Marguerite Stephens, Georgia Rose Collins, George Bertram, Rosalie Wade, Clennan Warren, Frances Warren, Faith Johnson, Sylvia McLane and Flora Holmes.

She is survived by her children, Kevin McCleskey, Henry (Jeanie) McCleskey, Julia Weeks, Phyllis (Little) Champ; 20 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; siblings, Janet Samuels of Dayton, Marilyn Averett of Dayton, Virginia Cutler of North Carolina, Gladys Julious of Atlanta, Ruby (Ernest) Adams of Canton, special friend and caregiver, Joyce; and numerous other relatives and special friends.

A visitation will be held at 1PM on Friday, September 2, 2016 at Exodus Church, 405 West National Road, Englewood, Ohio 45322. Funeral services will begin at 2PM.
