Charlotte Marie Hunt

Charlotte Marie Hunt, age 89, of Miamisburg, passed away October 23, 2022. She was born April 18, 1933 in Greeneville, Tennessee to the late Dave and Minnie (Woods) Smelcer. Marie earned her Associates degree from the University of Tennessee, and went on to work as an X-ray Technician at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton before retiring after 24 years of service.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Jack Raymond Hunt, and by her son Dave Hunt.

Marie is survived by her daughter, Darbie Hunt; daughter-in-law, Tracy Hunt; grandchildren, David (Mikal) McElveen, Jennifer McElveen, Michael Baker, Kyle Hunt, and Tian Hunt, along with her great-grandchildren, Ari McElveen and Marley McElveen and her life long best friend, Nancy Hansen.

Marie will always be lovingly remembered as an amazing and strong woman, a good wife, mother and friend, and the best cook ever.
