Charlotte Heck
Heck, Charlotte Sebald, 85, of Centerville (previously of Kettering), passed away on February 6, 2011.
She was born on May 23, 1925, the daughter of Ralph and Frances Sebald, and grew up in Middletown, Ohio. She graduated from The Ohio State University, where she was a member of Alpha Xi Delta fraternity. She worked for many years at the Kettering YMCA as a swimming instructor, and particularly enjoyed helping adults overcome a fear of the water and learn to swim.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 59 years Thomas F. Heck, and by her brother, William J. Sebald.
Charlotte is survived by her daughter Vicki and husband Jeff Studebaker of Brookville, her son Sande and wife Toni Heck of Centerville, grandchildren Tyler Studebaker and Samantha Heck, along with numerous other family members and friends.
A memorial service and scattering of ashes will be held at David's Cemetery Scattering Garden in the spring.
