Charlie Taylor

Charlie Louis Taylor, born December 29, 1941 went to be with Our Lord March 21, 2014 after a lengthy illness.
He was born to the late Hewin and Mary Elizabeth Blackwell Taylor of Mason, TN. He was baptized at an early age. Later he moved to Dayton, OH in which he was one of the Founders of Valley Grove Church. He was a production supervisor for General Motors, Inland Dept. 890 after 30 years of service he retired.
Seven siblings have preceded Charlie in death. They are Janie Taylor, Dorothy Boyland Mary Terry, Robert Taylor, Melvin Taylor, Erma Clayborn, and Willie James Taylor.
Charlie leaves behind his devoted wife of 20 years, Martha Taylor. He has 2 sons, Steven Taylor of Atlanta, GA and Ruben (Yolanda) Evans of Dayton, OH; 3 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn his sisters, Phyllis Anthony, Ruby (Walter) Gude of TN, Izola Robinson of Arlington, TN, Margaret Jones; brothers, Fred Taylor of Dayton, OH and Milton Taylor of Mason, TN.
Services have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel), 3940 Kettering Blvd. Visitation is Saturday March 29, 2014 from 1pm to 2pm with funeral service immediately following at the funeral home.
Resting place is West Memory Gardens Cemetery.
