Charlie Eugene Poteet

Charlie Eugene Poteet, age 81 of Beavercreek, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2020. He was born February 27, 1939 in Jonesville, Virginia the son of Mode and Cornie Poteet.
Charlie retired from Delco Products after 30 years. He was a member of The Moose, where he enjoyed spending time with his friends. He loved camping, fishing, boating and carpentry. Charlie was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Charlie is survived by his wife of 60 years, Shirley; grandchild, Brad Poteet; sisters, Pauline Pursley & Nella Dovel, and many nieces & nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Gary Poteet; grandson, Robert Poteet, and four brothers.

Visitation will be June 16, 2020 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel(3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). Funeral Service will follow at 11 am. Burial will be at Heritage Hills Memory Gardens.
