Bill Sandlin
Age 67, of New Carlisle, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, September 22, 2007.

Bill was born October 30, 1939 in Leslie County, Kentucky to Ballard Robert & Josephine (Begley) Sandlin. In addition to his parents Bill was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Webb.

He is survived by his wife of the past 48 years, June F. (Garnett) Sandlin; two children, Carmen R. Day and Charles W. Sandlin, Jr.; five grandchildren, Amber, Andrew, Amanda, Daniel & Charles W. III; one great granddaughter, Haelie Wright; and by three sisters, Jeanette Baker, Patsy Hooks and Vicki Metzger.

Bill retired in 2002 from Chrysler Airtemp with 39 years of service.

The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, at the New Life Worship Center, 3350 Benchwood Road, Dayton. Pastor Ronald Coleman will officiate. Interment will follow at New Carlisle Cemetery.
