Charles Shanesy

SHANESY, Charles P. Jr. passed away Monday July 16, 2007 after a courageous battle with Leukemia. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Lyda Shanesy; sister Patricia; and brother James. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Marie Louise (Sprauer); daughter Colleen Nartker (Ken); son Charles III (Wendy); grandchildren Leslie, Michael, Brennan, and Keeley; and numerous other relatives and friends as well as his beloved Chaminade Class of '47. He was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan, liked the riverboat casinos, and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Funeral mass will be held 10AM Friday July 20, 2007 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 411 E. Second St. The family will receive friends from 6PM to 8PM Thursday July 19, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd.
