Charles M. "Chuck" Salyers, age 64 of Dayton, OH, passed away January 17, 2019. He was born in Mansfield, Ohio on August 28, 1954 to the late Troy & Odette (Massena) Salyers.
He is survived by his wife, Kathi S. Salyers; children, Leah Salyers, Carree Chapman, Sarah (Jim) Ogden & Scott (Jackie) Hyder; 6 grandsons, Codi Carter, Rickey L. Risden III, Kyle Chapman, Connor Chapman, Ashton Tobe & Ryker Burque; brother, Troy (Connie) Salyers of Westerville, Ohio; sisters, Diane (John) Brown of Mansfield, Ohio & Michelle Badger of Mansfield, Ohio; 4 nephews, 4 nieces & many friends old & new.
Chuck retired from Bridgestone/Firestone after 35 years of service. He loved the Cleveland Browns & Indians, and enjoyed fishing, camping and music.
Family will receive friends from 3-4 PM on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. where a memorial service will begin at 4 PM.
