ROWLEY, Charles, age 79, of Dayton, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2014. He is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Rowley. Charles is survived by his daughter, Pat (Ronald) Hedden; grandchildren, Sarah (David) Taylor and Cole Hedden; great grandchildren, Graden Charles and Weston Lee Taylor; siblings, Mary Ellen Mullins, Paul Rowley, and Doris Reynolds, and sister-in-law, Marie Gross.
He served in the U. S. Army from 1957 -1959 and worked for the NCR Corporation, as well as Erico Corporation. He was a longtime member of the NCR County Club Golf Course and enjoyed spending time with his family, as well as taking the dogs for walks.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 - 6:00 pm on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, with a memorial service to follow at 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
