Charles Junior Richmond, of Butler Township, left this world and went Home to our Lord on September 30, 2021. He was 43 years old.
Junior was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Azlee and Walter Richmond; and maternal grandmother, Yvonne Howell. His beloved cousins, Joshua Richmond and Robert Adkins were there to greet him in Heaven as well. There are numerous other friends and family members who welcomed him home also.
Junior is survived by his wife of 19+ years, Angie; son, Zachary; and daughter, Molly, all of whom he loved dearly.
He is also survived by his mother and father: Kathy and Varney Richmond, who loved him beyond measure. He leaves behind many aunts and uncles: Althia and John Lake, Sue and Mark Rigsby, Deak and Marcie Richmond, Patricia Caudill, Robin Cochran and Linda Adkins, as well as many numerous friends, cousins and other relatives.
Junior worked for the Montgomery County Auditor's Office as a State Certified Weights and Measures Inspector for 24 years. He truly enjoyed the work he did for the County and he took great pride in it as well. He had great respect for his boss, Karl Keith, as well as his coworkers.
Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 am on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will be held at 10:30 am. Pastor Randy Chestnut officiating. Burial will follow at Polk Grove Cemetery, West National Road, Butler Township.
