Charles T. Rains passed away June 22, 2018 at his home.
Charles was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing guitar, golf, skiing, hiking, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
Charles proudly served our country for nearly 18 years with many military accomplishments.
Charles was preceded in death by his mother and father, Charles and Janice Rains, and sister Melissa Rains.
Charles is survived by his wife, Kimberly Rains; sons Chris (Nancy) Rains and Thomas Rains; daughters, Holly (Renee) Rains, Jennifer (Rocky) Smith, Melissa (Kelly) Hines, and Stephanie Wigglesworth; and many grandchildren; sister, Sherry Rains; brothers, Jeff Rains and Randy (Glinda) Rains.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 3, 2018 from 1-2:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel. A memorial service with military honors will follow at 2:00 pm.
