Charles E. Rabold "Tate", age 84 of Washington Twp., passed away October 27, 2014. He was born December 25, 1929 to the late Charles A. and Mabel Rabold. In addition to his parents, Tate was preceded in death by brothers: Esker, Norman, Don and Dale.
Tate is survived by his sister, Pauline Silver; sister-in-law, Mary Rabold; niece, Kathy (Joe) Rolka; nephews: Keith (Kerry) Rabold and Steven (Ava) Rabold; and several great nieces and great nephews.
Tate graduated from Centerville High School. He was a farmer his entire life, enjoyed collecting antique Oliver tractors, and was a champion corn husker. He will be missed by all who knew him.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, October 31, 2014 at Woodland Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 11:00 - 11:30 am. Arrangements by Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Tate's memory to The Hospice of Dayton.
