Charles R. "Chuck" Sturgill, age 55, of Dayton, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born October 2, 1960 in Dayton, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles R. Sturgill and son, Jason M. Sturgill.

Charles is survived by his loving mother, Myrna Sturgill; son, Charles R. Sturgill III; three brothers, Jeffrey (Michelle) Sturgill, Jerry Sturgill and James (Holly) Sturgill; sister, Marsha A. (Eddie) Trammell. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and numerous family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, June 17, 2016 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery.
