Charles R. Riepenhoff

RIEPENHOFF, Charles R., age 56, peacefully passed away Monday, November 26, 2007. He is preceded in death by his mother, Joyce (Crumm) Riepenhoff. Charles is survived by his father, Ralph Riepenhoff and step-mother, Joanne; fiancée, Barbara Shepherd; special aunt, Alma Canary, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. A special thanks to his buddy and caregiver, Melissa Lieurance. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Charles enjoyed boating and spending time with his friends on the Ohio River. After completing coursework with the U.S. Coast Guard in 2006, he received the title of Captain. He was employed by Gebhart Electric for 25 years. He will be remembered and missed by the many people whose lives he touched. Memorial services will be held 2:00pm Saturday, December 1, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Family will receive friends from 1:00pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
