Charles R. Evans, Jr.

EVANS, Jr., Charles R. "Rich", age 50, of Fairborn, passed away October 31, 2012. Rich was born May 9, 1962 in Dayton, Ohio. He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Fairborn. Rich was a landscaper for Deal's Landscaping in Beavercreek. He is survived by his parents, Charles R. and Cheryl Evans; two sons, Charles R. Evans, III and Lee Evans; one daughter, Samantha Evans; brothers, Gary Evans and Ronnie (Sunday Grinnell) Evans; one sister, Rhonda (Johnny Hill) Evans; fiancé, Lisa Hall and family; best friends, John and Lori Crank and Rock and Kathy Osterfeld; and numerous other relatives and friends. Rich was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Raymond and Geraldine Reuber; paternal grandparents, Charles Evans and Etta Simpson; one sister, Christina Evans; one brother, Donnie Evans. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 4, 2012 from 2-5 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Rd.) and Monday, November 5, 2012 from 11am-12pm at St. Mark's Lutheran Church (100 E. Main St., Fairborn, Ohio) where funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm with Pastor John Place officiating. Burial will follow in Willow View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church or to a charity of the donor's choice.
