Charles L. Price

Charles L. "Cotton" Price, age 95 of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2023. He was born February 22, 1928 in Chattanooga, Tennessee the son of Eslie and Reba Price.

Charles "Cotton" retired from the architectural firm of Lorenz and Williams after 37 years where he oversaw the construction of many prominent Dayton and surrounding buildings; as well as the homes he raised his family in. He enjoyed 35 years of gardening, camping, boating, fishing, golfing and 19 years of retirement with Margaret, the love of his life, in Florida where they had many friends. He was an active member of the VFW, the Moose Lodge and the Carpenter's Local 104.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Margaret Jeanette Price; daughter, Brenda "Nootch" Circle; his parents; brother, Jack; sister, Peggy and sons-in-law, Anthony "Tony" Beener and Dan Brunett.

Charles is survived by his children, Charles "Kash" (Brenda) Price, Gary (Robin) Price, Connie J. (Larry) Price & Vickie L. Beener. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Brian, Ashley (Daniel), Emily (Marcus), Rob (Heather), Scott (Meagan), Jamie (Matt), Cody, Roshelle (Devan), Cliff, and Lindy (Chris); great grandchildren, Trent, Maddie, Josie, Trinity, Eli, Garret, Becket, Violet, Zak, Kaylynn, Jolene, Riley, Gracie, Jax, Hunter, Miranda, Marinah, Masie, Harper, Parker, Asher, Cole & Logan; great great grandchild, Landyn; son-in-law, Jeff Circle and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Open House will be Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432).
